The 1st ICAERUS PUSH open call for Innovation Development was successfully closed on 11 July 2023.
The open call, which launched on 13 April 2023, will provide a significant opportunity to engage partners and create actionable results.
The response was remarkable, with 55 unique applications from 17 different countries.
ICAERUS plans to explore opportunities and provide a more comprehensive and interconnected representation of the potential and impact of drones as multi-purpose vehicles in agriculture, forestry, and rural areas of the European Union. With a focus on promoting the effective, efficient, and safe deployment of drones, the project seeks to identify the risks and added values associated with these cutting-edge technologies.
With the participation of applicants from 17 countries, the 1st PUSH Open Call has truly become an international platform for bringing together creative thinkers, researchers, startups, and manufacturers.
The response to the 1st PUSH open call for Innovation Development presented a rich diversity of expertise, covering a wide range of areas related to drone technology. The majority of applicants consisted of start-ups and small-medium enterprises (SMEs) exploiting drone services and technologies as well as companies operating in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Additionally, the 1st ICAERUS PUSH open call attracted proposals from diverse fields, ranging from research and development, to aerospace, to drones in agriculture and information technologies.
The ICAERUS project is committed to supporting innovative ideas that align with its mission and the selected projects will receive up to €60,000 each to implement their visionary projects.
