The rugged landscapes of North Macedonia pose significant challenges for rural logistics, especially in remote areas like the mountainous villages near Ohrid and the scattered settlements around Strumica. Traditional transport methods struggle with long distances, poor road infrastructure, and unpredictable weather conditions. However, drone technology is emerging as a game-changer, offering faster and more efficient deliveries to these hard-to-reach locations.

In recent years, UAV technology has emerged as a game-changer in logistics, promising faster, more efficient, and environmentally friendly transport solutions. From the early days of concept testing to real-world deployment, the use of UAVs in logistics has evolved from experimental trials into a practical reality.

Over the past six months, ICAERUS partners have been   busy sharing the projects activities and results across Europe.  From international congresses and webinars to prominent expos and collaborative forums, ICAERUS remains at the forefront of innovation and capacity building in Agricultural Environmental and Rural UAV Services.
